In search of life’s true meaning, TAOASIS founder Axel Meyer travelled across the tropics in the 1980s, where he developed a profound fascination with the world of fragrance. It was there that an elderly Indian master shared his ancient knowledge of aromatherapy with the young globetrotter, inspiring him to begin distilling his very first essential oils. Today, the family-run business remains rooted in that original philosophy: 'Living in harmony with nature', a commitment they uphold through a steadfast dedication to sustainability, local sourcing, and biodynamic principles.
