Cananga odorata
Ylang-ylang is a tropical tree with intensely fragrant whitish-yellow flowers that is cultivated in Madagascar, Reunion and the Comoros. The ylang-ylang tree grows 10 - 30 m high in the natural world, but in cultivation it only grows to 2 - 3 m high. The distillation of the flowers takes up to 20 hours. Ylang-Ylang is an important raw material for perfume.
Use: aromatherapy : mix max. 7 drops with 50 ml organic almond oil
