Cold-pressed linseeds create an omega-3 rich linseed oil. About 12% of these omega-3s are included in the press cake used for this flour. The fibre-rich flax seed flour has a very good swelling power and thus makes a great bread dough. It can also be used for baked goods of all kinds.
- Adding 1 teaspoon daily to cereal or porridge makes an easy to digest meal.
- When baking, 10-20% of the flour can be replaced with flaxseed flour. Since it has a very good swelling capacity, just adjust the amount of liquid in the recipe accordingly!
