SONAM's Tsampa makes "tsampa", a traditional Tibetan food staple. Tsampa is also eaten in other parts of the world, such as Ecuador, the Canary Islands, Finland, Korea, Japan, etc. The gently processed naked barley contains valuable nutrients such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, copper and vitamins (E, B1 and B2). Tsampa is also a great source of protein and can be cooked either quickly or slowly. The tsampa by SONAM'S Tsampa comes in Demeter quality and contains exclusively naked barley.
