Raab Vitalfood GmbH Organic Linseed Flour, 200 g

Raab Vitalfood's Organic Linseed Flour has a high fibre content, is rich in plant proteins and contains natural calcium and iron. Linseed flour has a delicious, slightly nutty taste.

The flour is obtained from the seeds of the flax plant. After gentle cold pressing to extract linseed oil, the press cake left over is carefully ground into a fine powder. This powder is ideal for making bread dough, baking recipes or for thickening muesli, yoghurt, smoothies, shakes and more.

Application:
A maximum of 10 g (1 heaped tablespoon) per day.

Tip:
Linseed flour is ideal as a plant-based egg substitute in baked goods. Simply mix 1 tablespoon of linseed flour with 3 tablespoons of water and allow it to absorb the liquid. This results in a gel-like consistency that can be used as an excellent thickener.
