Description
Experience the authentic taste of classic dal with this Ayurvedic ready-to-cook mix from Classic Ayurveda. Quick and easy to prepare, it is ready to serve in minutes. The base of protein-rich red lentils is complemented with coconut milk powder to give it a velvety, creamy consistency. Savoury tomatoes and onions are finely balanced with spices such as cumin, paprika, ginger, and chilli. The flavour profile is rounded off with rock salt, mustard seeds, chervil, and asafoetida to create a hearty, warming dish with a gentle touch of heat.
Preparation:
1 serving (60 g)
Bring 150 ml of water in a pot to a boil. Add 60 g (approx. 1/2 cup) of dal mix, simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add ghee or oil and salt to taste.
