Description
Jiaogulan Powder by Terra Elements is obtained from the leaves of the Jiaogulan plant. It is also known as "ginseng of the South" or "5-leaf ginseng".
Characteristic of the plant:
- Forms numerous tendrils
- 1 year old
- Grows to a length of four to eight meters
- Indigo plant
- Prefers a moist and warm growing area in shady, higher altitudes
Processing:
- The leaves, which are collected 100% in the wild, are air-dried at low temperatures (35 to 40 degrees)
- These are then ground to a fine powder
- Carefully processed natural product
Note:
The EU currently classifies Jiaogulan as a novel food.
