Bioenergie Organic kbA Date Sugar, 500 g cardboard can

Dates can be used for baking, sweetening and refining dishes and are an excellent alternative to conventional sugar. They have a delicate flavour that is reminiscent of caramel. Bioenergie sources its organic dates from Tunisia (Deglet Nour Dates). Grown under ideal conditions, they mature into mild, sweet delicacies and are then harvested, dried and ground by hand. Date sugar is particularly popular and often used in Ayurvedic, middle eastern and North African cuisine. It is a natural source of potassium and magnesium.

Hints:

• Date sugar does not dissolve in liquids because it consists of dried, ground dates (therefore not suitable for sweetening tea and coffee)
• Store in a cool, dry place in a closed container, ideally in the refrigerator
