Description
Bentonite is a light clay that is especially rich in minerals. Bentonite consists of montmorillonite and the well-known clinoptilolite zeolite. Montmorillonite is capable of ion exchange. Bentonite is the result of a weathered, siliceous, volcanic tuff caused by lichen, fungi and pebbles. Montmorillonite is also suitable for the production of hydrogel ointments.
- In contrast to zeolite, bentonite has a high swelling capacity and can be used externally as an ointment base for injuries, compressions and insect bites.
- 100% pure bentonite. Very fine, homogeneous, white powder.
- Origin: France
- The montmorillonite content is over 95%, the pH is about 10
