For this spice oil unshelled rapeseed is cold pressed with a spicy composition of paprika, oregano, pepper, basil, coriander, rosemary, mustard seeds, thyme, onions and marjoram. The result is well suited to recipes from the Mediterranean, e.g. pizza and pasta.
Mediterranean spiced oil consists of a mixture of herbs with pepper, oregano, peppers, basil, coriander, rosemary, mustard seeds, thyme, marjoram and onions. It is used to flavor Mediterranean dishes such as pizza and paella, meat, fish and soups. This allows even a lifeless frozen pizza to turn into a culinary highlight. The oil goes well with chili con carne and all tomato and savory vegetable dishes, spaghetti sauces or just noodles. You will be amazed what a spicy taste unfolds.
Proper and careful application of the spiced oil in the kitchen
The oil can withstand a moderate heat in a frying pan or wok. Drizzle one to two spoons of the preferred herb and spice oil over your food to set the desired flavor accents.The spiced oil can also be gently spread on with a spoon or a spatula.
Mouth-watering appetizers, hearty meals, fresh salads, dips and even soups and sauces taste great with this fresh oil. You won't have to marinate foods as long because the marinade is already spiced.
